Different computer and graphic cards have their own temperature tolerance level. So you need to check from manual what is the temperature range your processor can handle. So, how to find if your PC is overheating or not? The easiest method is to check from BIOS screen. Some people might get problem entering BIOS.So, for them their are some tools available like Speccy SpeedFan and HWMonitor which displays a wide variety of sensor information and temperature.

It might be due to heating up of your system processor and other parts of system especially graphic card. In case if your system is overheating by checking through above mentioned methods and tools. You can follow some basic tips to keep your PC cool and prevent from getting overheat.

Clean Your System [Dust free]

The main problem with PC or even laptops are dust. Dust blocks air flow and jam the system and CPU fan. You need to clean your system regularly. Keep the area around your computer clean. How to clean your computer see Here.

Keep Case closed

Some people might suggest you to open your Desktop side cover and it will keep your system cool. It might be but the problem with this technique is dust. If your system if open more dust will pass with air and ultimately blocks the air flow. So, keep case closed.

Make Sure that Fans are Running

Make sure the Processor fan is running smoothly. You can check it by opening cover of your system. In case you feel the fan is not working properly then replace it immediately.

Use Case Fan(s)

You can use more than one case fan to make sure full air passage.

Use Thermal Gel or Paste

You can use thermal get or paste on the surface of processor if the heating problem is still remains.

Use Cooling Kit (In case your are addicted to games)

If you play lots of heavy games back to back then make sure your system have cooling kit installed. Installing a water cooling kit can drastically reduce the temperature of a CPU.
